Full Line of New Giant E-Bikes

Last month Giant unveiled its full new line of 2017 E-bikes at a product launch in Kirchberg, Austria. The 2017 E-bike range consists of six series including the Full-E+, Dirt-E+, Road-E+, Quick-E+, Prime E+ and Explore E+.
Each new series is built on Giant’s innovative Hybrid Cycling Technology, a system that combines electric power with human power to produce a powerful, efficient and natural E-bike riding experience for riders of all types.
Initial reviews of the 2017 Full-E+ 0 SX, Giant’s flagship off-road E-bike, have begun to appear in the media. This full-suspension machine is designed to make off-road adventure more fun and accessible to a wide range of riders.
The Full-E+ is engineered with a lightweight and strong ALUXX SL aluminum frame that features 140mm of smooth Maestro rear suspension and Giant’s SyncDrive motor that’s powered by Yamaha. With proven trail-riding geometry, 27.5 wheels, and new Boost rear hub spacing, it’s a confident and capable adventure companion.
“The Full-E is a very capable machine that lets you climb the un-climbable and stay fresh for the descent,” wrote BikeRadar.com’s senior technical editor Matthew Allen after his test ride on the trails of Kirchberg. “Because the assist lets you go that much faster, uphill technical sections take on a new dimension, and I found myself thinking more about my lines and less about simply surviving a tough climb.”
The U.K.-based website Ebiketips gave the Full-E+ a 4-out-of-5 ranking, calling it a a “high-quality trail bike with great spec.”
“The Full-E+ is a step forward from the old model and it’s a very likeable all-mountain bike with enough juice to get you up some big hills and suspension that’s sorted for keeping you aboard on the way down,” wrote Ebiketips editors.
